Strength Exchange

Updated: Dec 13, 2021

God Conscious

Scripture tells us Christ is alive and living in believers[1] and that Christ will never leave us[2]. These spiritual truths confound the natural or created man[3] but yield the truth that it’s natural to be spiritual and spiritual to be natural. This exercise is a combination of the exchange and the meditation teachings. The exchange[4] is waiting and renewing as well as biblical mediation[5].

Exchange

Isa 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord

Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.

  • Wait is a translation of the Hebrew word (Strong’s H6960) qava pronounced kaw-vaw’ and is a verb meaning; to twist together, wait, look for, hope, expect, trust.

  • Renew is a translation of the Hebrew word (Strong’s H2498) Halap pronounced khaw-laf’ and is a verb meaning; to change, to renew, to substitute, to show newness

Meditation

Joshua 1:8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

  • True prosperity (pushing forward, breaking through, advancement, progress, success; tsalach H673) You’ll make your way prosperous because you meditate on the ways of God.

  • Biblical meditation is to… ponder, imagine, think, reckon, deliberate, determine, reason, speak, and study (G3049, Logizomai, G3191, Meleto and H1897, Hagah)

Exercise: Speaking Strength[6]

Joel 3:10 …Let the weak say, ‘I am strong.’

  • Say is a the Hebrew word (Strongs H559) amar and is a verb meaning; say, utter, speak, to say in one’s heart

Psalm 18:32 It is God who arms me with strength…

Psalm 27:1 … The Lord is the strength of my life …

Psalm 71:16 I will go in the strength of the Lord God…

Isaiah 40:29 He gives power to the weak, And to those who have no might He increases strength.
