God Conscious

Scripture tells us Christ is alive and living in believers[1] and that Christ will never leave us[2]. These spiritual truths confound the natural or created man[3] but yield the truth that it’s natural to be spiritual and spiritual to be natural.



Renew[4]

Isa 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord

Shall renew their strength;

They shall mount up with wings like eagles,

They shall run and not be weary,

They shall walk and not faint.

· Wait is a translation of the Hebrew word (Strong’s H6960) qava pronounced kaw-vaw’ and is a verb meaning; to twist together, wait, look for, hope, expect, trust.

· Renew is a translation of the Hebrew word (Strong’s H2498) Halap pronounced khaw-laf’ and is a verb meaning; to change, to renew, to substitute, to show newness


Isa 61:3 To console those who mourn in Zion,

To give them beauty for ashes,

The oil of joy for mourning,

The garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness…


Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

· Renewing is a translation of the Greek (Strong’s G342) anakainōsis pronounced an-ak-ah'-ee-no-sis and is a noun meaning; a renewal, renovation, complete change for the better

Ephesians 4:23 and be renewed in the spirit of your mind

· Renewed is a translation of the Greek (Strong’s G365) ananeoō pronounced an-an-neh-o'-o and is a verb meaning; to renew


Colossians 3:10 and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him

· Renewed is a translation of the Greek (Strong’s G341) anakainoō pronounced an-ak-ahee-no'-o and is a verb meaning; to make new, changed into a new kind of life. a renewal, renovation, complete change for the better


Exercise

Using you sanctified imagination, picture yourself handing your lack/need to Jesus, and receiving back in return his sufficiency and provision
